MY MEMORY IS SO
SWEET ITS EASY TO RECALL. I HAD ALWAYS BEEN IN CHURCH BUT IN 1984 AT
SEVENTEEN FOUND MYSELF UNSAVED AND SEARCHING FOR THAT SOMETHING I
COULDN'T PUT MY FINGER ON. WELL THAT SUMMER I FOUND THE ANSWER.
THROUGH MYLON'S MUSIC AND MINISTRY I CAME TO TRULY KNOW JESUS CHRIST
AND WAS SAVED. IT WAS A CONCERT IN GREENVILLE SOUTH CAROLINA. WHEN I
FIRST HEARD THEM I COULDN'T BELIEVE MY EARS. THE ROCKING GUITARS WAS
SOMETHING ELSE AND THE SMOKE AND LIGHT SHOW WAS GREAT. BUT WHEN
AFTER A FEW SONGS THEY SLOWED IT DOWN AND SANG THE SONG " MORE" MY
HEART LIKE THE SONG SAID WAS TRULY BROKEN AND THE LOVE OF JESUS
BROKE THROUGH. TO THIS DAY THAT IS MY FAVORITE SONG. I WOULD LIKE TO
ASK IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO GET THE MUSIC SOUNDTRACK TO THE SONG
"MORE" BY MYLON. I'VE LOOKED AND CANNOT SEEM TO FIND IT. ANY HELP
WOULD BE REALLY GREAT.MY EMAIL IS
ktruck@charter.net
GOD BLESS AND THANKS FOR LETTING ME
SHARE MY MEMORIES.

My
Dad and Mom took me to see Mylon and Broken Heart on
their "Sheep in Wolves Clothing" tour when they came
through Fort Worth. It was my first real concert I
had ever been to, I was 10 years old and it was
amazing. That album and Mylon's testimony
really touched my Dad, who had a similar experience
like Mylon in coming back to the Lord. His favorite
song was "Morning Star."
We saw them a couple
of more times after that, once at Jesus Go Fest '86,
in Lindale, TX, and once again I believe in Fort
Worth for their "Crack the Sky" tour. What wonderful
memories I will always have of that period in my
young life and all the people in it. Thanks Mylon,
for telling so many people about Jesus and for
all the wonderful music you made for Him.

Just
watched the movie "Tommy" and for the first time caught
Mylon in the credits. ...which led me to Wikipedia...
which led me here. As a long time afficianado of great
music (both Christian and non), I just wanted to stop in
to say that Mylon has one of the all-time classic rock
voices, right up there with Burton Cummings and John
Fogerty. I STILL pull out my old Mylon and Mylon/Alvin
Lee vinyl every year and blast it during our annual
pig-roasts/beach parties. And every year, someone new
compliments that voice...

Great
site, Mylon was the greatest rocker or the 80's scene
and his new cd isn't too bad either. I just ordered the
last few "secular" albums so I should have his entire
body of work soon. It will be interesting to hear it
all. God Bless.

Hi
Wow I cant believe it I found the web site to Mylon. It
is like it took me back to some of the best years. I
first saw Mylon at Greenville, NC and if I am
remembering right I then saw him at Fishnet in front
Royal,VA.
The first time that i saw him my Father had just
committed suicide that fall. My mom who was also a big
fan took me to the concert. I decided that night to
completely give my life over to Christ. I was 15. I went
into a back room that night and met a counselor there at
the concert which I became very close friends with.
Mylon came into the room that night and tapped me on the
shoulder and said Jennifer I turned around and said how
do you know my name? He said with a small laugh and grin
your mom told me she is outside the door. He took time
to sit and really talk to me about everything that I was
going threw.
Man, this ministry has changed my life. My mother has
went on to be with the Lord now but man the memories
she made with me at those two concerts I got to go to.
Hey may you all be blessed; and Mylon and your band, thank
you for the memories and thank you for changing my life
I will never forget you all

I have seen Mylon
minister in our church many times, and each time I
get something new from God, it is almost hard to
think that a man did so much, and made it through.
He has been a blessing
to me and my wife, and I can say to our church also.

I WAS A BABY CHRISTIAN WHEN I FIRST HEARD MYLON. MY WIFE
AND I WERE IN KAUAI SITTING IN OUR HOTEL ROOM WHEN THE
VIDEO OF STRANGER TO DANGER CAME ON THE TV. WE
WERE BOTH VERY MOVED BY THE VIDEO AND BECAME INSTANT
MYLON FANS. WE HAVE TWO SONS WHO WERE 6 AND 8 AT THE
TIME. WE GOT EVERY MYLON CASSETTE AND THEN CD THAT WE
COULD FIND. OUR FAMILY WENT TO SEE MYLON MANY MANY TIMES
AND EVEN GOT TO MEET WITH HIM AT ONE SHOW. OUR SONS
STILL TALK ABOUT THE INFLUENCE THAT MYLON AND HIS GROUP
HAD ON THEIR LIVES GROWING UP. WE PRAISE GOD FOR MYLON
AND OTHER GROUPS LIKE HIS THAT HAVE BEEN A POSITIVE
INFLUENCE ON YOUNG PEOPLE.

In my opinion Mylon and Broken Heart were the best
in the great days of CCM. I've worn out the video
tapes long ago. I still have the records but I
haven't had a turntable to play them on in years.
I've just purchased the Mylon and Broken Heart -
Greatest Hits CD. I am very particular about the
music that I listen to. It is rare that I enjoy
even half of the songs on a CD. I had to write and
tell you that every song on this CD is a 5-STAR. I
know that Mylon is being used these days in a great
way but I just wanted people to know that he has
left a great legacy of Christian music to inspire,
encourage, and entertain.
