My first ever Christian
rock concert was the taping of the Sheep In Wolves Cloghing video at
Heritage USA. I was against Christian rock until I attended this concert
and bought the tape. I was changed from that day forward. I loved
Mylon's energy, encouragement, and heart-felt call to salvation
delivered at every concert.

We do a Security for the
Sonshine music festival in Willmar, Mn and had seen
Mylon Perform there a lot. I made the mistake of
asking him for an autograph backstage, not knowing
his no signing policy. He Said "I'm not a performer,
Man, I'm a Minister". After being embarrassed, I
thought that was an awesome statement.

I was a sheltered
preacher’s kid and thought you could never be that
cool and actually be a Christian. Mylon taught me
that I could be myself, long hair and all, and still
love Jesus. Don't get me wrong I was not a
rebellious kid I just thought that you had to look a
certain way and have a 25pd bible to be a Christian.
Then when I would go to Mylon's concerts I could
just feel the love of a Living God. That is what
being a Christian is all about. I wanted to know
Jesus. So I asked Him into my heart at Mylon’s
concert in Ft. Myers, Fl in 1988. Thank you Mylon
for all the times I know you were tired and felt
like stopping. You kept going and because of your
sacrifice I found the Lord and my life has never
been the same. Thanks,
Of all of the Mylon and Broken Heart songs
recorded...I feel the presence of the Lord every
time I here More. Still, after all these years it
ushers in the Glory of our God.

I was 12 years old and Mylon was my favorite singer.
We went to the concert and it started snowing really
bad so we had to get a hotel room in Rio Grande. We
ended up staying in the same hotel as they were
in,and my dad ran into Mylon at the pop machine. I
have been A diabetic since I was 3 and my dad told
Mylon and told him how much I loved their music.
Mylon came back to the hotel room with my dad and
prayed for me for the diabetes. He is A very special
person and I will never forget meeting him. After
that we all got back stage passes and autographs
from the band. They were all special people .

When I saw Mylon the first time in 1984 it really
impacted my life. I went through some of the same
struggles with drugs, etc that he did and I felt a bond
with him altough I never have talked with him. He shared
that night about the things that he did and has been
through and I said to myself that God was really going
to use this man for the kingdom and he has. Thanks for
doing this website.

Well, not so much a story or
memory, as each time I saw him and Broken Heart was SUCH
a great memory, but I'm just thrilled that Mylon is
actually a close friend of my family now. He and my
father, who is a Pastor, are very close friends and it
is a dream come true to be able talk with him freely and
get to know him as he was my BIGGEST hero growing up. He
is why I'm a Christian musician and songwriter. He and
Christi (as I'm sure you know) are truly wonderful
people.

The last time I saw Mylon & Broken Heart was at Six
Flags In Texas just before they ended the group. It was
the first time I heard the song "Secret Place" and it
was like everything all around the park stopped and it
was totally focused on worshipping God. It will be
something I'll will remember for the rest of my life!
